The Impact of TimeLife Is Made Of Millions Of Moments… BUT we live only one of these moments at a time. As we begin to change this moment, we begin to change our lives.”

-Trinidad Hunt

Every moment of every life is valuable. The five minutes that just passed are five minutes that you will never see again.

NEVER.

How did you invest that time? Do you feel like you got the most out of it? Were you friendly, giving, supportive, informative, or just tired. I know what you’re thinking… “it was only five minutes!” Yes, they’ll be more minutes and more moments but never those exact minutes and moments again. Thus, time is of the essence. It is a vital entity that is often lost so quickly that we don’t even recognize what we had before it is already gone. Life is but a vapor.

With these facts in mind, make sure that you are investing your “moments” wisely and getting the most out of them. Try to do your best to engulf yourself with “life” one moment at a time. If you can for an hour live in the moment then you can do the same thing for a day. If you can focus your mind to do it for a day then you can do it for a week. If a week, then a month.

If a month, then a lifetime.

Now, a lifetime of sincerely felt and experienced moments is all that any soul can ask for. Take this principle and attempt to apply it and let me know what you think. It can change your professional and social life. It can also change your definitely of success. Continue reading “The Impact of Time on ‘The Pursuit of Success’” »

“I’m supposed to be the best.” Yea, you’re good, but I don’t thrive off of your attempts to 1-up me. If I did then I would quit once I beat you. That’s too easy.

I’m taking hold of my proper position everyday I wake up to give my all.

I stopped making excuses weeks ago. I left my complaining behind as well. Somehow I realized that it only saps my energy. I’m focused. I know I have the tools to complete what I’ve started and now I’m determined to take it to the next level.

Traditional measures of success are elusive. Victory, as Merriam Webster defines it, is short-lived. So I’m rewriting the manual. I’m only using the brightest and the best to contribute. I’m going back to the beginning. I’m drinking from the source. I’m pouring out the essence of who I am and sending it into airwaves so that those looking can find it on cellphones, I-pads, laptops, and desktops.

It’s Not Hardcopy – This is “e-change.”

Time to e-change your bad thought patterns for one that will produce more. Yes, I know you’re busy. “However, being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing.”

embarrassed person

Alright everyone, I have a confession to make. I let Lori from lifeforinstance.com hear about an embarrassing story about something I have done. I didn’t know she was going to post it. Alright, I did but I didn’t know so many people were going to read it. Well I didn’t feel right letting complete strangers read it without giving My A Spark Starts family a chance to check it out.

So far, it has about 65 comments. My goal is to reach about 100 before Friday. What that means is that I need you, all 11 of my subscribers, including you Jermaine, to write about 10 comments a piece. You can do it! NO EXCEPTIONS!! :-)

I would give you a snippet of the story but what fun with that be. Go check it out for yourself. For this post I want to do something a little different. The person with the most witty comment will win a special award from yours truly, Jermaine. lol! No, this will be a personal gift from me. Bill Dorman already has a pretty hilarious one on there so give it your best shot. It might be hard to top Bill. I’ll see you on lifeforinstance.com
